But yeah they’re talking about using mustard as your coating for batter. You don’t taste it the way you would if it was on the sandwich.

I have lately been using plain beer. Nothing fancy just whatever drinker is on hand. It has more flavor than water and with mild fish like sacs or with shrimp it doesn’t overpower the flavor.
