Minnesota
Prob bland as shite since its northern Midwest.
Not surprising that crawfish are found there. It is pretty boggy/marshy and has a lot of wild rice.

Apparently Andrew Zimmern is getting hammered on twitter for this tweet
Edit:
I would go through the response to his tweet. I am dying laughing at some of them. People are having a damn field day.

Minnesota has over 10,000 lakes and Wisconsin has about 15,000. I can assure you the vast majority are not boggy/marshy.

Almost half the state is "wetlands". A lot suitable crawfish habitat

They purged them and actually he dusted some Old Bay if you see it again. I don’t mind Old Bay on crabs once in awhile but I don’t like dusting.
Actually I can’t stand dusting then eating Tony’s all over my hands.

Minnesota has an estimated 10.6 million acres of wetlands — about 19% of the state. These wetlands are home to a wide array of plants and animals and are an important part of Minnesota's water resources. Wetlands also absorb storm flows and protect downstream water quality in lakes and streams.

The only seasoning I recall him mentioning was Old Bay, and they had bowls of melted butter on the table. They sort of went with a "tiny lobster" approach.
At least the MN folks served them hot. The folks in Scandinavia they showed poached them in herbs like dill, then chilled overnight and ate cold.
