You mean like best grocery store food? I love Bet-R. Those ladies back there make some good food.

If you are talking plate lunches Hi Nabor does a good one. Carlino’s which used to be on Tom Drive did a great one.

I used to like the Shell station Middle Eastern deli on Perkins btwn Bluebonnet and Siegen but the people working behind the counter are freakin disgusting. I'll never go there again.

Yeah that one went downhill. All the middle eastern gas stations are pretty bad.

Whole Foods bit the dust too. Last time I was there, a very unsavory woman was walking around the hot bar, not one of the unsavory employees, but a customer.. just stirring the hot bins of food. Not making a box for herself.. just meandering around, stirring the food on the hot bar.

Bergeron's City Market is the best in BR IMO. I've never had anything bad there.

Rouses on airline has a good serve yourself per/lb buffet, but their styrofoam containers must have some lead mixed in, because a single chicken breast shouldn't cost $7.50 by weight.
