I couldn't pin point exactly what it was but there was a subtle sweet taste that really gave it another dimension. Maybe some honey infused butter on the bun
its the bun... its prob the best bun in town but IDK about burger.

If we can include the Baton Rouge surrounding area then Burger Delight in Gonzales. If not, I'll go with Mason's.

Had one today. Certainly nothing special about it.

Fat Pat's has Lafayette's best burger FWIW.

I agree, decent burger (much better than any fast food place), and nice little place, but certainly not on the "best burger" list, But I would put them on the best milkshake/malt list

Pimanyoli's on Airline in the same building as the Village. Best burger I've ever had. It's a long way out, but worth it in the quest for the best burger. i think the one with all the fixins is the sidewalker. Very, very good.

Stick to the Cafe Burger, a good burger does not need to be loaded with alo those extras IMO.
But they do make a damn tasty burger and give masons a run for thier money IMO

I didnt like the sidewalker at all. It has too many fixins, which take away from the flavor of the meat. I am looking forward to trying a more simple burger there though

I love Masons and Sky Hook. Alaska and Raouls are good but not great. I'd have to throw the Big Cheesy Lou up there from Louies too.

I tried this one after all the hype. Should have gotten a plate lunch. Well done burger that was cold. American cheese that wasn't melted. Bacon that had been sitting out for a while.
