LSU Alumni know its Raouls ... for that juicy juicy like what !!!

I'm gonna get bashed but raouls is all hype, people just like the setting and nostalgia many attach their "college days" to that place. Burger is okay but it's usually overcooked.

he may be right if laffy still has a ground patti.
mason's grill gives me the heebie jeebies..the place reminds me of a funeral home inside even the bar area, and the people that work there seem strange.

This is nowhere near correct.. Judice Inn or Southside Bakery may be hailed as the burger mecca in Lafayette.. But the River Queen in Port Allen's Ida Burger with cheese and bacon kicks their arse before you even cross the Mississippi River bridge..

The burger seems to have changed in the last year or so. They used to be on my list.

where is River Queen in Port Allen?
Posted on 11/5/09 at 12:43 pm to fatboydave
Route 1 on the left coming from the bridge.

ground patti isn't even in the top 4 or 5 in lafayette. The new place called Burger Smith in River Ranch is amazing. Not to mention Judice Inn and Southside Bakery- etc.
