What place serves your favorite version? My personal favorite is Bourque’s Supermarket in Port Barre. Lil’ Dizzys is another favorite.

The Bread Pudding Souffle at Commander's is always a treat, but my favorite is White Chocolate Bread Pudding with Frangelico Sauce

Although REALLY sweet, the white chocolate version that Sno's in Gonzales serves is certainly worth trying.

I’m intrigued about this white chocolate with Frangelico sauce, where did you have this at? We were in NO a couple weeks ago and I have always wanted to try CP’s bread pudding soufflé but didn’t get it done.

Bread pudding soufflé from Commander's Palace. Had it for Lundi Gras brunch today. Our other dessert was king cake benigets with foie gras sauce. It was listed on the appetizer menu but we had it for dessert. Delicious.

Heard Perry's steakhouse has a good one but I've never had it.

The best bread pudding was from a guy named Stuart Sheng. His wife is a politician in Jefferson Parish Cynthia Lee Sheng He would sell it out of his house for catering, at festivals and pop up places, etc. only problem he died a few years ago from a massive heart attack. Not sure if the recipe died with him but his business ended.
