Ice, I believe that dish at Cuvee was made with fried mirliton done Napoleon style with the shrimp remoulaude on the layers in between and it was very good.

Good call. I can now resume my distaste for fried green tomatoes knowing that my fave app had none in it.

Glad to be of service.

That was the fried green tomatoes with shrimp remoulaude, not the mirliton napoleon and I knew that, of course, glass.

I don't know crap about New Orleans restaurants, though, or so I was told by someone who shared TulaneLSU's opinion with me. I stay out of his threads. I can google on my own.

Roasted beet and crabmeat salad with a "broken" beet vinaigrette from Peristyle around 1999. IMO, the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in NOLA. I wish Anne Kearney would come back.

I love Roasted Beet salad ever since you made me aware of them. The best one was at Sage in the Aria hotel in Las Vegas. It was a Duck Fat Roasted Beet Salad.

I've had this as well.. very very good. I like oysters in pretty much any form the come. It's hard for me to resist an oyster, mussel, or scallop.

I never had Sweetbreads, but I'm taking my Dad to Patois in a couple of weeks and saw it on the menu there. May try it.

Wow, this is a tough one. I might edit this post after I think about it for a while.

For now I'll go with

Goat cheese-stuffed squash blossoms @ Domenica
Crab rangoons @ Bamboo House (circa early 90s)
