Just wondering because the only thing I've heard since the opening month was tonight from a couple whose opinion I normally trust.

At opening, I heard from here and people I know about the usual hiccups: slow service, running out of product, and just general confusion amongst the staff. Typical opening problems.

But the couple I talked to tonight said they went a few weeks ago and will not go back.

They claimed it took a pretty long time for a server to come to them, and first asked how they planned to pay: cash or charge. Took his card and ran it, then asked for their orders.

I've never heard of anybody doing that, and would chalk it up to exaggeration if I read it on Yelp. But I heard it in person from them.

Anybody else have an experience like that?

**I haven't been. I also haven't heard people talk much about it. And this is the first real complaint I've heard about it. And I also am the one who asked them about it, because I haven't been yet.

I'm a fan of the place. No complaints about service. Maybe they just got a crappy server

It’s a really cool place. Nice vibe and good beer selection. We sat at the bar and had really great service.

The service is slow as hell, but it's almost to be expected. I think it comes with the territory and organization of self seating.

Food is very good, nothing on the beer menu will blow your mind but there is a wide variety of beer types with 4-5 beers in each.

They open a tab when you order. If you think about it, it's really no different from any bar in that regards.

What's the name of your bar? Is it on Government or just close by?

The bar is great but in my mind there will be 3-4 months throughout the year that the weather will greatly deter their business because of outside seating being the majority.
The Beer and the service are great.
The menu isn't my favorite but the food on it besides the wings are legit.
I live in the neighborhood and go regularly, I can not think of a time the service was bad.

The only bad thing I have to say is that the wings are just not good. Other than that, it’s a great spot.
