Anyone know where to find some in the BR area?
I'm a member of Costco and haven't seen them there yet. Used to be a member of Sams's and I think they had them there before but can't get in anymore.

Fresh Market should have them as well.

Somebody PLEASE post a foolproof recipe for these.
I love them but they have been my cooking Kryptonite.
I used the same recipe five times last year. Once they came out tasting like Prime ribeye. Twice as OK but meh and twice like an old hunting boot.

I feel your pain. Seems like you have to get lucky and get really good quality beef ribs which is a chore where I live. Sometimes I think they keep the good ribs over in Texas and send us the crap.

Albertsons usually has them in the back. Ask the butcher for plate ribs. They come in 4 rib sections. I smoke them like brisket, but not as long; 4-6 hours is fine.
