Have a wedding in Conroe next weekend but I am staying in the woodlands. I would appreciate a good BBQ place. Also plan on hitting up Spindletap. If you know of any other quality breweries in the area please let me know.

TIA

Conroe has some good breweries.

- B52
- Copperhead
- Lone Pint (more magnolia but same vicinity)

Can’t help on BBQ unless you come further in, all the places I know are inside my 610 bubble.

That's a good 35 minutes from Conroe.

We're you thinking of Southern Star?

Skip Spindletap and hop around Conroe. B52, Copperhead, Southern Star. 2&3 are 3 miles apart

Sure you can. Good BBQ is the most polarized opinionated food on this board and nothing’s even close

D's Farm Road on 1488 in Magnolia is close to the Woodlands and is as good as Corkscrew without the wait.

Was Spindletap on your way to somewhere? Odd that you planned to go out your way when there are other places that have been mentioned in the area.

Not really, just remember last year or the year before they caught my eye either with advertising or on here somewhere. Thought they had a good looking selection of IPAs and always wanted to try it out. Didn’t look incredibly far from the woodlands.

Corkscrew is a must. Get the beef rib if it’s available.

If you head that way, do Ingenious instead. A little closer to you with a lot more variety.
