I went for the first time on Friday. They are open for breakfast till a little after lunch when they sell out. Only open on Monday to Friday.
We had two 2 meat combos and a brisket sandwich.
Brisket - was moist and had good flavor. Only complaint was it was a tad bit tough but not too bad. The portion was good nothing earth shattering just solid brisket.
Ribs - were not as moist but flavor was good. Got 4 ribs with the combo plate.
Pulled pork - super moist and decent flavor. I’m not a pulled pork person but wasn’t my favorite.
Brisket sandwich - good portion of brisket on it.
Baked bean - probably my favorite was really good.
Potato salad and Cole slaw were solid and good.
Macaroni - I hated it
Now I fall into the camp of if I want good barbecue I’ll just do it myself. This was the best I’ve had in Baton Rouge. Didn’t see anyone talking about, so I had to give them some props for putting out a good product. They do it the right way. Big smoker in the back. Go try them out. They are going to need the help with the location and the hours.

It’s on Inniswold right off of Jefferson. Between Izzos and BRQ. Thought BBQ was much better than BRQ and much cheaper.

Strange hours...6am to 2pm

There is a new Pitmaster so come try it out! Also they are open at 11

the hours are 11-7 wed thru Friday. Tuesday and saturday till 2

There is a new family that runs it now. All wood BBQ .
