I just looked it up. They have TVs now, and you are basically paying for a seat for all 3 games. Its $213 plus 35 for each additional person. You get a Koozie, a towel, one order of fries, entered into a drawing for some Brees signed stuff...

But you have to pay for all additional food and drinks.

Who the F would do this.

So $250 for the joy of sitting there with your S.O.? That's some nerve.

According to their IG, they are almost sold out of the 3 game packages, so I guess someone.

I love Saba, but that package is kind of silly and definitely not worth it to me at least.

I think there will be at least one group that thinks it comes with food and drink.

Anyway, back to BBG...

Man I'm so glad that place is reopening. It really is one of my standbys and I was there a little too regularly, almost every weekend.

I do feel like it was getting lapped a little by other places and needed some improvements, so I hope they took the time off to improve.

Especially the inside of the beer side which had just become dilapidated.

If you like big crowds, no a/c and difficultly getting drinks

It’s much easier to get a drink there than at for instance Wrong Iron, pre-Covid.

I’ll just politely disagree. Wrong Iron is an unfathomable shitshow on game days that is almost impossible to deal with. I waited almost 30 minutes for a drink for LSU/Texas.

Absolutely never had an issue getting a drink at Bayou. They have 4 bars and it’s super easy to get one from any of them. I tend to favor the wine side and know most of the bartenders so maybe that’s why, but it’s never been an issue.

I find WI’s set up with one bar to be totally retarded.

Torres' new place probably will be decent to catch the fall games at. Menu should be pretty good too.

I'm looking forward to that one. I will be checking it out soon after they open (have they yet?).

I'll never understand why Wrong Iron put that random back shed instead of a back outside bar.
