When my wife was in college. Was that really hard to grasp?

This. It was just the place where everyone went after games. If you actually want good mexican food in BR go to Superior or Zippy's.

I don't buy the "Serranos was good back in the day" talk.

My son is so happy! He'll be a freshman at LSU in August.

I miss their burgers!

Lucky bastard. I got to LSU just in time to miss Gatti's, Tigress Deli, Chelsea's, The Caterie, ect and will be graduating just in time to miss Curbside

Someone explain to me like a third grader the Barcadia-Curbside connection. I read Barcadia is a chain out of Texas. Apparently I'm a moron.

I am glad you asked this.

Also, is Serrano's closing immediately?

Barcadia is a chain out of Texas, but they partnered with the Curbside Food Truck to provide the food for their kitchen in New Orleans. Curbside's burgers are featured on the menu. Now that Barcadia is expanding into Baton Rouge, Curbside's burgers are part of the deal. It will be the same concept as the one in New Orleans with probably less square footage and more free parking.

No. I think Serrano's will be remaining open for a few months. Barcadia is trying to open in July, but is really just shooting for getting it's doors open before football season.

A very small "chain" being that it's only 2 locations with a third being added.

Yea but it fits the narrative to imply that it's the equivalent of a Schlotzky's Deli or Olive Garden coming in
