My wife has a craving for some banana pudding and it's been forever since I've made any. Does anybody have a good and quick recipe that they can post on here for me? I've got a roast going in the crock pot that should be done in about 4 hours. I'd like to have the banana pudding done for dessert tonight. What do you guys have?

My wife does a killer bannana pudding, using the heat and serve Jello vanilla pudding. She adds an egg to the pudding to make it richer.

Box of vanilla instant pudding
Bananas
Whipped cream
Nilla wafers

Make pudding, when it's set, add a little whipped cream to make it fluffy.
Line bottom with bananas, pour filling in, top with more whipped cream and line with wafers. Simple and delicious.

This will suck on my part, but i have a partial recipe. Rich, and not low cal.

1 can condensed milk
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
1 container of Cool Whip
I box of Banana Instant Pudding mix (add the amount of milk that the package instructions require)
Sliced bananas
Vanilla Wafers

Whip together the condensed milk and the cream cheese. When it gets runny, add the cool whip and the banana pudding/milk that you’ve mixed together.

I wrote that much down and never got the rest, but I guess you just let it set and do the usual with the bananas and vanilla wafers?

We separate 3 room temp egg whites, beat em up with a little sugar 1/3 cup, adding a little at a time while beating eggs, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and make a nice meringue.

All purpose flour 3 1/2 tbs , milk 3 cups, room temp egg yolks 3, vanilla 1 tsp , sugar 1 cup, and a dash of salt to make the custard. Med heat, stir constantly until thickened, all ingredients except for 1 tsp vanilla. remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over layers of sliced bananas and wafers. Add meringue and bake at 425 until peaks of meringue are lightly browned. Yum, wish I had some naners.

I love it warm and then cold, then some more cold.

These recipes sound delicious. I haven't made it in a very long time and I can't ever remember baking it and making a meringue but it sounds delicious and I'm gonna try it. I remember always making banana pudding quick and easy but you guys are giving me some ideas to kick it up a notch. Keep the recipes coming. This is one of my favorite desserts. Doesn't look like I'm going to get to make any tonight because the wife changed her mind and picked up the first king cake of the season instead. No complaints here but I was ready for some good ole banana pudding ever since she mentioned it earlier.

Doesn't take too long. I guess it's like warm and cold crawfish. I like em both. Try it you may like it. If you don't thicken the custard enough it will be too runny to eat warm. But chilled it will congeal even a loose custard.

Stir constantly on heat.

Whip together the condensed milk and the cream cheese. When it gets runny, add the cool whip and the banana pudding/milk that you’ve mixed together.

Add sliced banannas and Nilla wafers (crushed for layers, whole for topping) at will and you got it.

My ex made it this way, and it was great.
