I've never been, but just saw this post on the Where Nola Eats Facebook page.

It was not on my list of places I wanted to go when I visit New Orleans.

How many times have you been there? How was it?

Their apps IMO were their best items.

I remember that place being on the short list for our wedding rehearsal dinner, but I had never been before.

We went with Mr. Bs instead.

Had a couple of work functions there over the past couple of years and it was good, but nothing special.

I'm glad they are able to keep everyone employed at their sister restaurants.

I was coming here to say this.

I was a regular at the ditch from 07-10 or so. One of the owners let me bring a keg upstairs and host people for LSU games. All we had to do was guarantee $500 in liquor and food sales from the party—easy to do when the keg was floated by halftime.

The food at Balise never really impressed me but I enjoyed drinking there before and after saints game.

I liked the Ditch before IT got gentrified.

Solidarity.

Lots of good memories of the ditch. Worked next door at 600 carondelet for years.

They had a solid happy hour and their mussels were great.

That was a favorite afternoon stop for me and Mrs.

Wife and I went for dinner about a month ago and we thought it was really good. Seemed dead and didnt really have an atmosphere though.
