Are you denying that Polly wrote an angry facebook post during covid, blaming people for not wearing masks for why she was shut down, meanwhile also had many praising posts of Destroya?

I say again, do you deny the pub owners actions during covid?

Went last night. Food is really good. Like Blue Oak, but uptown.

Beer list is alright. No different really than what you would find at Bulldog or another beer focused bar.

Not sure if they have plans to return to some of the rarer/unique beers. Hope they can get some of the one off kegs from brewers again, not sure if breweries are that keen on still doing that type of setup still.

Upstairs still closed, total wreck up there, but looks like they are renovating.

I believe they said it would be ready in early 2023.
I’m really looking forward to the food. Having some Blue Oak wings and a beer on the balcony sounds pretty damn nice.

The sprouts are spot on as well. Tacos looked good, but didn't try them.

hearing the top will be primarily an event space. Not sure if it will be open as much as it was previously.

Balcony was the most charming aspect of the place.

Well, frick that then.

It's any other bar in town without the balcony.

The old menu had some real gems on it that were thrown out for overrated Blue Oak snacks.

Regardless of whether the old owner was a quack, that place had character and it had a few unique aspects to it; The balcony, the bourbon collection upstairs, the eclectic beer menu, the food menu, 24 hour operation, the dark interior.

From what I've seen, they have gutted all of that.

I'll pass.
