happy to frequent the taprooms every so often but even that is old.

Taprooms are generally boring, sterile, and all have the same feel to them. I get the sterile because they're brewing beer behind the wall, but it definitely hurts the vibe of a place.

On top of this, plenty make them quasi playgrounds for kids.

Terrible. I bring mine to dive bars like my parents used to do.

Speaking of which, music at Kingpin is about to kick off.

I'll be honest Polly and Eileen is the probably just being themselves. I think it is the 2hole culture they started. I know when Trunp was elected those two went overboard in several instances and then when it came to the mayor of New Orleans they created a bussing system to get people to the polls. Not an issue really, except they expected you to vote a certain way.....
They did the same thing for the recent presidential election and while I love they got people to vote I hate that they encouraged people to vote a certain way.

Had they been all about voting and promoting voting for the best candidate the person believes then fantastic but they did not which makes me feel like "duck them"

Lol like they have good intentions there. They use the poor minorities like they always do. Pick them up to go vote a certain way, bring them back home, we'll see you again in 2 years and not a second earlier. Rinse and repeat.

If I told them I would like a ride to go vote (R), I would be waiting on the street corner until I rotted away

Ft, will I be seeing you in a few weeks?

Not sure; I am no longer the point of contact from my relationship to the BR beer group.

I had to bump this to call BS on ft for not getting invites. And I couldn’t pass up a chance to call out the liberal douche bag owners of two places I used to spend a ton of money at. Both Polly and Scott contracted advanced cases of TDS very early, and it caused their liberal leanings to go full on ham. To sit and praise and help elect the very Governor and Mayor destroying your business, and to openly and loudly criticize the largest employers in the area, when a fair number of your patrons are spending their wages from said companies in your establishment was stupid. Used to love the Avenue Pub, and Polly mostly kept her politics suppressed in person (unlike Scott) but when Covid hit, they doubled down on their support for the very asswipes doing them in. Won’t shed a tear if they both go belly up.

I changed my social media name and LL had to contact my better half to send a message. I also can't manage my own schedule so I have no idea what is ever going on.

Oh yeah, not many in the service industry are very big fans of Polly and her shite. She is pretty two faced on her treatment of LBQMNOP people and especially minorities.

Her over the top virtue signaling was the end for me. I remember her printing some type of shite on all her menus about how they frowned upon any discrimination and their bar was a safe space.

My group was treated horribly by bar tenders and given ugly stares because we were all dressed in business attire as we had just come from our corporate place of business. We didn't fit their ideal customer make up i guess. We definitely felt discriminated. It was the last time I ever went
