It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Austin (pre covid), but I’m heading back in a few weeks for the weekend. Over the years I’d like to think I’ve tried most of the best places. Covid put a pause on everything but I’m ready to get eating again. Anything new to try?

Are you only looking for “new places”?
Dinner, lunch, price point, type of cuisine - any preferences on these?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them. That looks right up my alley

Easy Tiger if you want a cool place with lots of good beer, good outdoor space, and pretty good food.

I’ll add Peached Tortilla and Old Thousand if you liked those suggestions.

Snooze is a breakfast chain that is mediocre. Also, its very much national and you can get it anywhere.
More local breaker joints:
Juan in a million: con queso breakfast is my go to.
Jacobys: weekend brunch Texas style
Fonda San Miguel: week-end brunch interior Mexican
Olamaie: weekend brunch southern/Texas style
