Anything worth eating in Minden LA?

I did have a good carne asada plate a few years back at the Tex Mex joint 1/2 mile off the 1st exit. Best of luck.

How late? Neta's barbecue is not bad. I think they stay open till 8:00 but they don't have a dining room.
Pepe's Mexican on Hwy 531 is serviceable. Salsa is pretty good. Mole chicken enchiladas and enchiladas Suizas are not bad.
Roma's downtown is pretty bad as are Habacu's and El Jimador.

JP's Ranch House wasn't bad and they served beer. One thing cool about Minden was they still had a Western Auto store.

Minden folks love Minden I think. I havnt been there in years but I was really suprised at all the hugantic new houses around there. I assume that's Haynesville Shale money? Some pretty impressive pads out in them hills..

There are a handful of really wealthy families that still live there. Tango trucking, Madden Construction, couple others I can't think of right now, and yes probably some large landowners.
