Minden is terrrrrible.
However, if you drive about 20 minutes west to Arcadia, there is a mexican place called La Fogota and it's pretty damn good. Best mexican food I found along I-20.

Yummy Sushi is great. They get all of their ingredients from Dallas.

Y'all are crazy. Minden is my hometown. Wouldn't want to be from anywhere else. Cotton's Chicken is the real deal (or at least it used to be when I was in high school in the early 80's)
Yes, lots of rich people there that earned it the hard way - they inherited it. And some beautiful homes too. But not everyone is rich and snobby. Lots of hard-working, down to earth, good people there.

Well you are obvious in the right group. You are probably one of those NON-SNOBS which means you are clueless. Endless stories I could go on and on and on with these really unsavory people. A lot of bad men in that town.
