Don’t go to any of these places

This..We have lived in Hammond for a few years now..

Cena for a nice dinner
Tacos and Beer for exactly that
Eddys is overrated and overpriced, go to Batter or Insomnia
Gnarly for sure to kill time, they actually have food on site now

Coming down with the Sox ?

Lived in Hammond 6 years during college, 2016-2022, best sushi in Hammond is Kirin in my opinion and Asian in general Le Saigon by the mall is top notch. Get the Hot Stone Bowl and you won't leave disappointed

Wasn't that place owned by the goofball who liked to get in arguments with customers and things of that nature?

For OP, I'm sure the Hampton Inn will be fine, although if it were me I'd prefer to stay at the Holiday Inn Express or Courtyard Marriott b/c of location.

Curious to see which place you tried and how it was.

Well after making the thread I got invited to a golf tournament that my wife graciously let me attend. So I was only in town for a day. She was there 2 days/night. I had Cate Street for lunch. Neat place. Food was good. My kid destroyed a bunch of sushi. I tried some and was pleased except for something called sushi pizza that wasn't very good. (I told him it was a dumbass order from the get go). I had a burger and a bloody, both of which were tasty. Other than that I only hit Gnarly Barley for a couple beers between games. It was great.

After I left the better half went several places, including Mariner and Our Mom's, which she enjoyed. Can't remember where else she went but I'll find out
