Anyone tried 'not your fathers root beer' yet?

My buddy brought some over for a party awhile back. We made some floats with ice cream in them. It's pretty good stuff.

My father's root beer was probably more than 6%

Too heavy on the stomach. I have had it, but I can't do it and expect to drink a lot more. It's more of a kick back and relax drink after work, it's not a beer for pounding before going into the stadium. It's really root beer with a kick is what I mean, not beer that tastes like root beer
