Anyone ever made burnt ends out of Chuck roast?

Might try it out.

Is it worth it and does anyone have a decent recipe?

Do it with a boneless standing rib. I've been doing this one for several years and everyone loves it. Someone on here showed me his board sauces and I use them all the time.

Just buy a small one and try it. Doesn't cost much more than a chuck and as above a chuck cooked this way will dry out. I do it on the egg.

I've had burnt ends of brisket that were good, but I enjoyed the moist well cook brisket with nice bark more.
