We don't really eat out that much anyway. If anything, it's gone up significantly during quarantine so we have something to look forward to. Might go to the Mexican restaurant by our house, but that's only because we can text the waiter and have a table ready.

My fridge is full of food, so until I finish off the stuff that could go bad, I’ll avoid the restaurants

What restrictions are you referring to?

I made reservations for Friday night here in Lafayette.

It will be a bit weird having my server wearing a mask, but that's small potatoes to me.

As 2 people who are at elevated risk, my wife and I will not be going out. Given my diabetes, heart failure and obesity, I believe that if I get it, I'll be dead soon thereafter.

We got take out from a place in Metairie today and nobody was keeping their distance and nobody was wearing masks - even the employees who were preparing and packing up the food. Needless to say, we will never be returning there if they are willing to put our lives at risk.

People, it's not about whether you're worried about the virus, it's about whether you could be spreading it to vulnerable people like my wife and I.

If you go out and come into contact with other people, wear a goddamn mask!

TX restaurants “opened” almost two weeks ago. In Fort Worth many places are still doing carry out only and the ones that allow dining in haven’t been packed. I’ve sat down to eat at two different places and didn’t have to wait at either one. People aren’t in in a huge hurry to get back in and sit down.
