I had a great time the year I went. A lot of different vendors / selections and a good setup at the rural life museum.

I went a few years ago, and it rained like hell. Other than that, it was a good time.

That rain year was a blast. Several puddle divers. Pretty gnarly. The home tee area is routinely my favorite home brew lineup of all the feats. Home brew at Gulf Brew was not my cup of tea.

I had the best beer I've ever had there many years back. One of the homebrewers made a chocolate hazelnut stout that was just mind-bending.

Unfortunately, I quit going because there were way too many people for the event, the space, and the offerings. Anything that wasn't Clydesdale piss had long lines and ran out quickly.

I hope they've since managed this aspect better because it really was a great time.

Crowd was pretty sparse yesterday, lots of homebrewers who normally float their kegs brought beer home.

How much is it these days? Was a great value for 30-40 bucks 15 years ago.
