Anybody have a Boathouse Smoker?

I've been looking at getting a new smoker for over a year now.
I've considered everything from a Yoder stick burner, to a Rectec pellet grill, and am now actually considering a Boathouse Cabinet smoker with the 3 cooking racks.
Anyone have any experience with these beasts?

I do not, but they damn sure look good.

Do a google search site specific to bbq-brethren. There are a couple people on there with them, specifically one with a cabinet smoker from him.

The smaller Yoder stick burner here. I could use more grill space, but honestly it’s enough I guess for now. People complain that the airflow isn’t the best but it is smaller, so that’s a challenge but I use the whole door to increase air intake, and maybe crack the main door at the beginning. Honestly, for what I paid, it works. I hear the kingman and bigger models work well, the Cheyenne is just a small chamber to keep air moving enough.
But I paid half for mine at less than a year old, so my complaints are minor.

The Cheyenne, especially the older models are provably the worst and most aggravating smoker ever made. They would reverse draft. There are plenty of threads and online conversations about them.
For the OP, what’s the budget and what are you looking for?

You can probably find a used 1/4" steel offset for that price if you look long enough. Shoot, you can get a new 1/4" steel reverse flow from Allen's for that price.

I have a custom one built very similar to that, materials alone were over 1k, ceramic insulation, double walled, reverse flow. Heavy as a tank. Just no use for it now. For a few hundred bucks could get it back to like new.
