Use this stuff as dressing on a grilled chicken salad once a week or so. Low carbs and calories.

Is that the same thing as avocado tomatillo? I got some from Costco recently and it is ok. I prefer salsa though. I need some heat.

Agreed on the heat. If I do tomatillo or anything like that I drop a littl habanero sauce in there. Green salsa + habanero is a solid combo

Might have to try doing that. I put some Tapatio on it, but habanero sounds better.

Yep. Green + vinegar from the habanero sauce + habanero for heat = $$$ imo

That herdez is good stuff. I like that and their verde salsa.

Why not? Too much salt?

Not usually store bought, but usually like most Herdez products.

In fact make homemade guac salsa using either herdez/san-marcos jalapenos. Like to throw a whole can with carrots (reserving most the liquid 98%) in a blender and grind it up to use in other salsa's, on taco's, etc. leaving it sorta chunky. Avocado+this stuff+minced onion+cilantro+fresh squeezed lime+minimal garlic and little of the reserved pepper liquid for consistency. Most love it - if they do cilantro.

Try this one;

1 bottle

1 box (reduced fat works too)

1 pint (light works too)

1

1/2 bundle of tops

2 serranos

3 drops

throw it all in here for 30 seconds and refrigerate for 30 minutes

I got idea from Bobby Flay years ago. He roasted tomatillos, onion, garlic, and peppers on a baking sheet for 40 minutes and pureed. I tried the La Constena one day and it tasted just like the blended veggies and saved so much time.

that Herdez guac salsa is delicious. It has a little kick to it.

I like all of their Salsas. I really like their green one.
