Anybody been to Commanders lately?

My wife went to a birthday lunch there yesterday and said the service was not top notch. This has always been her family's go to restaurant for special occasions. She hadn't been there in a long time and she said the difference was noticeable.

I went right before Christmas. Service was good, but we didn't get our Garden Room table with the blue stripe, an amuse bouche, or our usual servers. I chalked it up to making the reservation fairly late for a busy Friday. I know they switched their reservation system to Tock, but we had been since that switch and everything was as usual.
Food was excellent but Tory was working. When he's around, the food is usually better.

I went the weekend of Voodoo since I dropped a couple kids off and it was as good as always service and food. Had a good crowd too. But I’m a fan anyway even though I know it’s hierarchy probably has slipped a bit.

Nah. Far from it. Any place can have a bad service day from time to time particularly at lunch.

It’s my absolute favorite restaurant, but my last meal there was forgettable.

That’s like going to a strip club on a Tuesday at lunch time and being disappointed with the talent.
