Any one know how to make the Maïs Arepas corn on the cob and sauce

I think I could have eaten 8 ears. The mixture of salt, cheese, butter and spice are ridiculous. I'd like to attempt this at a tailgate.

It might actually have a bit of mayo in it as well. That is a popular way of coating corn on the cob in Latin America. Its basically mayo, a little bit of lime, salt or a salty cheese, and chile powder.

I dunno but it's pretty killer. Sop up the drippings with plantain chips

I need to get back to that place eventually and try that. I went once and liked it but haven't been back.
FYI, the Gretna Rouse's is solid. Really nice store. Could have more hot lunch selections though.

Just got back. I thought it was nice. I was disappointed they didn't have the smoked meat section like Belle Chasse Hwy. I told the manager.

I used some left over breading from the arepas.

Also had skewers of beef and chicken, empanadas, and two arepas.

The sauce is similar to the pink sauce in the mazorca at Baru. It is insanely good.
FYI, Felipe's was doing Mexican Street Corn for a while with a similar sauce. Haven't seen it in a while though.
