Another NOLA dining recommendation request *Updated w/ pics

Please help. GF and I are headed down this weekend. Swinging by Casemento’s for a few dozen raw for lunch. Dilemma is dinner. Doris Met, Mr. Johns or Irene’s. Would you recommend Bacchanal after dinner? Thanks in advance.
UPDATE:
I do apologize in advance as I'm not much of "picture taker". The GF shared these with her family so I grabbed them.
Started of at Casemento's, nothing special, just a small, loud, comfortable locally owned laid back place for fresh oysters and beer. The place isn't pretending to be anything other than what it is and we appreciated that. After a few dozen oysters, crab fingers and a few cold ones, we checked in.
Checked into room, opened a bottle of wine and cleaned up for rest of afternoon, apologize for "branding" but she wanted to share because it was a nice date-night. 2013 Jordan cab:
Stopped by hotel bar to watch part of game before stepping outside to catch part of the Krewe of Boo parade. After about 5 mins of that parade, we stopped in next door to grab a drink at The Saint (may stay there next trip down). Finally headed over to Doris Metropolitan. Service was fantastic. Ordered Chateaubriand Tartare -highly recommend, Tomato salad-balanced out the meal and quite refreshing, and another bottle of wine (as you can tell, we do like Jordan- this one a 2014 cab) to start. For entree we split the porterhouse (a perfect med-rare) with side of asparagus and finished off by sharing the Bonaparte for dessert. The GF prefers her steak a bit more seasoned. I had to remind her that this place was all about the quality of meat and more of a purists establishment. If you like to cover up the flavor of your steak by adding all sorts of toppings, this may not be your place. I will mention that it does come with a few different salts on the side for you to add. For me, it was fantastic. I can't say enough about the service, our waitress was fantastic, manager stopped by a few times to check on us and there was no feeling like we were being rushed. Total including tip was $360 but with the wine, was about what I expected. Will definitely dine again but thanks to you guys/ gals, there are a few other places that we need to try out before returning.

Irene’s, 100%. Top3 for me and yes, Bacchanal is great togo to. Save room for their bacon wrapped dates.

If yu want a steak, then Doris or Mr. John's fills your needs. Italian - then Irene's. Bacchanal is great - but it gets very crowded during the weekend, and finding a place to sit could be an issue. Still, with the weather hopefully turning cooler, its a great place to sip your last cocktails for the evening and to hear some great jazz.

Have y’all been to Irene’s lately? The last two times I’ve been it wasn’t as good. Maybe they were off nights.

It’s been a little while. I haven’t been since they changed locations. But I know a good bit of the staff and they are really great at making people feel at home, so it’s be hard for me to imagine not enjoying my next meal there.

Mr. John’s then cocktails at Cure on Freret St.

What did you get? Not sure how they could mess that menu up

Been to the new location of Irene's several times, and have not found it to be any different. The 3 choices the OP presented can easily be broken into 2 groups - steak vs Italian. Not a steak eater, so Irene's would easily get my upvote.

The last time I got the lasagna. It was solid but not as great as it used to be. Maybe it was a bad night.

Mr John's, then walk next door to the Hot Tin rooftop bar. It's the best view in the city and they do good cocktails. It's a perfect date night.

Gotcha. Never got that dish there.

Yeah - never had their lasagna either. Usually go with seafood optuons at Irene's. Either a finfish or the softshell crab if available.

Unfortunately I waited too long and can’t get in to Irene’s Saturday evening. We are open to other suggestions, Doris Metro has maintained the fantastic reviews and Mr. Johns is a sure bet as is Fins. Our last weekend trip was Commanders, Paladar and Delmonico. t00f, you mentioned Irene’s was in your top 3. May I ask what the other 2 restaurants are? As always, thanks in advance.

Galatoires
Sylvain
Would also consider Meauxbar, Herbsaint and Clancy's. But if Seadfood Peche

La Petite Grocery is a fine choice.

Check out one of Toup's restaurants. Love his dishes.

Just something to consider, depending on what time you finish with dinner Bacchanal may no longer be featuring music or it would be ending very soon. You can always hit it before dinner and get an appetizer there. You can even eat near there so you won’t need to go far, Bywater American Bistro or N7.

If you are looking to stay in the French Quarter..
Bayona or Café Amelie
Both are great and are romantic. They have outdoor seating which should be nice this weekend.
