If you wanna do Bacchanal go around 5ish, get a cheese board or some small plates to hold you over and do a late dinner.

Thanks all. We really do appreciate all of the feedback. As mentioned in earlier post, couldn't get a reservation at Irene's on Saturday. I was able to get us in at Doris Met. Agenda: Casemento's (unless someone can recommend a better place for raw oysters between BR and NOLA) 1:30-3:30'ish, check in hotel and clean up, drinks at hotel, head over to Bacchanal, dinner at Doris Met for 9:00 then there's absolutely no telling from there but probably back to hotel bar for live jazz (Jeremy Davenport?). There aren't many recent videos of him on the web but he's there from 9-1:00. Once again, appreciate all of the help, new places on the list for next trip! Maybe one day we can meet a few of you other old farts (I'm mid forties) or fartesses down there and I'll have the privilege of buying you a round!

Davenport is sort of a Frank Sinatra imitator, who plays the trumpet. If your looking for a late night, romantic vibe, it will hit the spot.
