What are your usual establishments in Lafayette ?
Pamplona, Bon Temps, Mazen, Cafe V, B&C would be the more upscale
Urbanos, Deanos, Pizza Village, La Pagua, Pops for more casual

It is great and not just the fish. Try their steaks.

Fat and salt. A stick of butter and a tablespoon of salt are not a "little bit."

I one time went to a dinner and a friend of a friend said to bring a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada for this kitchen. Went to convenience store down the street and walked in with beer in a paper bag. Gave it to bartender and once we sat down it became 18 bucks very well spent.
Of course that is vastly different than asking patrons to buy the kitchen beer from their own stash.

Borrowing from a curb your enthusiasm episode i watched on my last flight, needing the entire party before seating the table. We need stand ins.

Where i live the meat and cheese tray(charcuterie) is damn near everywhere now. I love them, but places are now charging outragous prices.
Went to a place the other night and ordered one for $28(company was paying) and it was literally 2 pieces of bread and a few pieces of cheese, meat, and pickles. No mark up in that, right?

As opposed to the other menu items, none of which are marked up?
