Thinking Antoines but not sure about city right now. Want somewhere nice enough to wear a jacket and I’d love a bar attached for drinks after. Metarie or NO is fine

Make sure it’s a bullet proof jacket.

That is funny. But now with phase 2 we may not be able to do anything

I’m pretty much done with New Orleans. Haven’t spent a dime there since beginning of Biden flu and that mayor has ruined it for me. Done. F that sloth

Just make something at home.

Grab some short rib and braise them.

Serve over green chile cheese grits and pick a root veggie for a side.

grab a nice bottle of red.

We've done GW fins for a few anniversaries. If you let them know it's your anniversary when you make a reservation they'll likely do a few special touches. Definitely one of my favorites in the city.

GW Fins might be the best restaurant in the city. That place always delivers. Every single dish.

If it remains open under the new phase, you might consider Brigtsen's. They recently started serving in the restaurant, but I would call soon if your date is coming up.

Went to Commander's the first week they re-opened and it was great. They wouldn't let us have drinks at the bar or on the patio, but they told us we could have the table for as long as we wanted.

I like Antoine's and would go there more often were Galatoire's not just around the corner.

Excellent choice and no hassle parking like you'd find in the French Quarter.

Great food to boot and dressy casual is good enough.

Antoine's had a very scaled down menu. Has that changed?

Even so, I'd go to Galatoire's over Antoine's if that's the type of food you have in mind.
