And because there’s too many restaurants in Laf to begin with

This is definitely not an issue.

Exactly this:

I don’t think there’s enough QUALITY restaurants in Lafayette.

Now, I’m extremely curious to see if Whisky and Vine on Pinhook where the old Jolie’s use to be will last longer than 6 months. I believe it’s been at least 4 different venues since Jolie’s closed.

I think it'll be fine, it's the Bon Temps people opening it. Seems like a place that will draw interest as long as the food is good.

Blanchard's serves very good BBQ, Mid City does not. That is the difference.

A couple of things. I never heard of this Lucky's place..It doesn't stand out. More of the everything is white building wise.

As far a Superior Grill There has not been any work going on since the previous restaurant was leveled and cleared. There is also a "For Sale" sign on the property.

I was wondering if maybe someone changed their mind on the idea.

No. Superior is happening. I talked to a manager last Friday at the LSU golf tournament.

Agreed. Blanchard's is good BBQ for this city/state, I was very disappointed the one time that I picked up a variety of BBQ from Mid City.
