Yes I agree. But indirectly.
If someone comes on the site, critiques a restaurant whose owner is not on this board, he is still logically "calling out the owner."
You come on here, critique a restaurant whose owner most people on here know frequents the board, and also call that owner out directly by name.
These are two very different things. Like I said naive or willfully ignorant.

My butt is just fine. You were too big of a chicken shite to tell the waiter in person that the food wasn't right. And instead, you get on here and spout off anonymously.

dude, i genuinely have no problem with the guy personally .. this is an open forum that is pretty good way for an owner to get a gauge or read on how people feel about their restaurant .. i think a lot of the drama in this thread has been generated by a handful of posters in here whose feelings i hurt along the way on another board .. otherwise, there have been some pretty good philosophical discussions in here about the industry in general .. once again, i am a loyal TJ Ribs customer .. like i am a loyal Ruffino's customer ... but i get what you are saying ..

you mean like your competition on here, back when you were a restaurant owner for a short stint, that you used this board to trash their businesses in the effort to prop yours up ... is that what i am getting here ?

He is an owner coming into a thread about his restaurant. You say owners should not come into threads about their restaurants. It's simple logic. When you make a general statement about a group of individuals, it applies to each one of them.
I dont get the disconnect that you are trying to prove here.

Good way for them to read criticism of their restaurant, but not a good way for them to engage in discussion and talk about those criticisms or try to rectify them (for the record - I dont agree with his method of trying to rectify the problem here)?

no it's not .. you are making it sound like as soon as beauxnes replied i said directly and specifically to HIM "YOU don't need to be replying on this board to this thread" ... i didn't do that .. why can't you get this logic ? the comment i made -- ONCE AGAIN -- was a general comment about previous restaurant owners that we have seen get in threads and argue with dissatisfied customers and make the shite worse .. i am pretty sure i even went as far as to say beauxnes shouldn't be compared to some of these people as he does seem genuine ... what am i missing here ?

most loyal customers aren't in it to have their individual situation rectified, but to point out to the owner a problem that they have that needs to be corrected so as to not damage their business in the future with other customers ... in a lot of cases, they have lost that customer anyway ..
