Had a gas grill that was about 5 years old that I have been using. Bought a new charcoal one about a month ago, just getting around to using it. What do I need to do? Grill plates are cast iron, outer shell is some sort of powder coated metal

directions say all sorts of things:

-season it with veg oil by wiping it down or spraying it with a veg oil spray (pam works?)
-wipe veg oil all over the inside, then burn coals for a few hours
-wipe outside and inside with veg oil after first few uses

if Les had no intentions of going to UM whatsoever, he'd publicly come out and say something to that point.

What exactly makes you think he would do this?

Historically, so does everyone else.

So. OSU has recently been the best of the best in the conference and played the best of the best (or maybe 2 or 3rd best) in the SEC.

"a nod" is different than "by far"

Well, when you only have 1-2 other great games to compare them to, you could say "by far" this as the best.

OSU is playing really good SEC teams (champs or runners up) in bcs games. the others are playing 3rd and 4th place teams.

Conference champs should be able to go head to head to prove their worth.

OSU gets hammered historically when they finish atop their conference and play an SEC team atop or near the top of the SEC.

There is a reason other conference champs or runners up are matched with 4-6 place SEC teams.
Very dumb.

"Uhhhhhhh.......I thought current = concurrent is implied....durrrrrrrr......"

Big name teams in a big name BCS bowl give this game the nod over an other bowl so far this season.

I'm a LB making a tackle on a TE when he gets to the first down marker, i push him behind the marker, then let go of him, wait for him to try and go forward again, and tackle him. Is he short of the 1st down marker? Because stuff like that happens in every game and they always give the first down

It's genreally understood that forward progress is a standstill, with an offensive player trying to go forward with one or more defensive players holding him up.

When you start talking about baiting an offensive player, the refs are not dumb.

Stop trying to take an extreme hypothetical that never happens, and will never happen, to justify your nonsense.
Not a bad call at all. Shut up Buckeye, and take off your Bucknut glasses.

He broke a tackle and tried to go forward. He got tackled in the end zone. Safety. Done deal.

That brotha is gone. Gonna make Jim and the NCAA look like fools, he takin da money and runnin.

Exactly what I was saying. Maybe I didnt make it clear.
OSU barely beat a mediocre SEC team that dropped 5 passes in key situations.

Haha.

FINALLY!!
Pryor doesnt declare????!

Haha.

She asked him if he would be back and he said "Aight."
I like how they said this after the win.

They could have said, "Well, Tressel finally beats an SEC in a BCS bowl."

both teams were doing this last night

Didn't see it much on the Virginia Tech side. But I was swithing back and forth between this and the Hornets, so I didn't see the whole game.
quote:

greatest show on turf Rams did this this all the time IIRC

I thought I remember a ton of big plays from that team from yards gained after catches?
quote:

ensures catch no injury no chance of fumbling

I don't know about all that. Ensuring the catch and lessening chances of fumbles? Seems like if you're too preoccupied with falling, you might be more inclined to fumble or miss.

cowards

Probably run no huddle in pick up games.
Did anyone else notice this quite a few times? The WRs or RBs would catch a pass and then lean over and fall down right away.

Was this from bad passes?

Just playing it safe?
Some of these brawds are pretty rough....

7 playoff games combined would not match the viewership total of the 35 current bowls

Why are many people under the impression that a playoff would have to totally eliminate all other bowl games?
quote:

How many do you think would be really interested in an Oregon / FIU matchup in the 1st playoff game?

I would surely watch more of this game, than I watched of the game last night that I dozed off during a few times.
quote:

Probably more than watched Uconn vs. Oklahoma in an exhibition game.

Good call.

Not that it bothers me or I care at all, but isn't this like the third time in a few months that you've made this post?
