Figured I would share our lunch experience from today. Wife wanted to try it out and I wanted some oysters so we went.
Probably won't be back. Overall food was pretty good but the service was terrible.
2 orders of chargrilled oysters came out 5-10 minutes apart and were very bland.
Salad came out with our entrees, short rib poboy was really good, fries were cold and soggy. Wife liked her shrimp poboy but same with her fries.
Went at least 20 minutes with no drinks until we flagged down another waiter/runner. When our waitress finally came to check on us after 30 minutes of being absent, we were told she had a $1000 table to take care of. That's not what customers want to hear or care at all about. Manager never came over and we weren't offered anything for what was a pretty bad experience. Beware if you are a party of 2-3 because your money obviously isn't as good as bigger tables (even if our lunch for 2 adults and a child was $75). Glad we tipped the waiter/runner separately since he was the only one that seemed to care.

You're the third or fourth person (but first on-line that I have read about) that have mentioned that Adrian's service leaves something to be desired.

Had the same experience, we ordered our apps & drinks through the person filling up waters.

I took the wife for dinner here a few Friday's ago. We made reservations a few days ahead. We were seated at our "table" thirty minutes after the reserved time. The table was a small top up against the wall and very close to a table next to us. In fact so close that we made friends with the family seating there. The food was good, charbroiled oysters, lemon scallops, and the redfish. The service is where they lost me. The waitress literally told me she didn't drink wine or know anything about it. I ordered a bottle and she struggled opening it. She admitted she never opened a bottle of wine until she started there. I offered to open it but she refused. The service was terrible for a dinner of two that cost me over $150. They need to work on a know knowledgeable staff and better hostesses.

Ambient music selection playing in the bar is very bad also, something from an 80s elevator.

Can't believe a juban family resturant can be run this poorly ....i live nearby but will only go to the original on Perkins
Why is every resturant that opens up in this area so terrible
The money and the people are there but the food quality and the service sure isn't...

I have not tried it yet, and it sounds like I'll wait a while.

French Market Bistro has provided some of the best meals I've ever had in BR. I'm afraid Ruffino's has suffered since the opening of the Lafayette place.

Yep, unfortunately not open on Sunday or that is where we would have gone.

I haven't been but had a co-worker go a couple weeks ago and their review was similar to yours. Said service was horrible and food wasn't that great either.

Wife and I went a couple Fridays back for an early dinner. Service was ok, food was very mediocre. The place looks nice on the inside and we might be back to grab a drink or two, but nothing really special. We prefer FMB and Ruffino's in the area.

Thanks for the heads up, was waiting for the crowds to die down and check it out. Service is tough in BR, I've gone to some places and they crush it while others are just not experienced enough.

Been a few times, all the apps have been bad.

Haven’t had a problem with service but we’ve gone early both times and they haven’t been busy.

The staff overall seemed a little "methy". Not all but enough to notice

Re: Ruffino's, this is a thread about Adrians, however, I am a long time lover of Ruffino's, but since they opened in Lafayette, Highland Rd. is a step or two below the level of excellence they once were. We still go, almost out of habit, but I don't brag to out-of-towners about it as I once did. FMB, Juban's, Mansur's are above them IMHO.
