idk, fratastic had it a few weeks ago. He was at the brewery though.

eta: just realized I responded to a post from 5 months ago.

Should be here before the end of the year. Not holding my breath for a specific date.

I just found the post where I saw today's date.
LINK

I'm guessing this wasn't true if no one else has heard anything about it.

Yeah, I should have known better than to have trusted that guy.

I asked the folks at Martin Wine Cellar this weekend and they hadn't heard anything about a release date. I was really wanting to have some of that for this coming weekend.

They've pushed back the release like 3 times already. I hope they get their problems solved soon.

How limited a release will this be?

It is like the Strawberry where they brew one batch and when it is gone, it is gone? Or will be be around for a while?

I'd imagine one batch and done. I mean it is a 25th year anniversary brew. Like most breweries, if it flies off the shelf they may do it again down the line.

I missed out on this for the first release.

Have they said a specific date for when the second batch is set to be released? The website I found says "mid- August 2011."

Today was supposed to be the day but have literally heard nothing new about it since the brew day. A guy at Whole Foods on Saturday mentioned that it was coming soon, but got that off of their website, so not from a distributor or anything.

There is also nothing on their website about it. It is really odd to me that they aren't rolling it out.

On a side topic there is apparently an Abbey Ale on cask next wednesday at 7 at Chimes East. Anyone want to go?

For Life & Limb, Polly put this up on Beeradvocate.

Wed Post

Per the rep La will be getting a handfull of bottles. My guess is that means between 6 and 10 cases at the usual suspects like stiens, aquistapace, calandros etc. Ill try to remember to post when i get my delivery and that should be the same time those folks get their bottles

Saturday post

Just saw that my Distributor emailed me earleir today to let me know that life and limb was in the warehouse. I didnt see the email early enough to get it for the weekend so i wont get mine till monday. Might be in the bottle shops this weekend but my guess is tuesday or wens of this week.

Many other states have had it for at a week or more already. LA is low on the sierra nevada totem pole.

I think a phone call to Calandros may have to be in order.

Edit: Slightly bad news. Calandros said that the cases have to make it out of New Orleans for us to get any. He didn't think he was going to get any but would make it known hopefully if they did. So a trip to New Orleans may be necessary.

I looked for it yesterday. Nothing new over there. They restocked stone 15s. I picked up a berliner wiess.

I read somewhere that vegas had it for $9.99 over 4 weeks ago.

Whole Foods has a ton of this as well as the Terrapin collaboration.
