Did it bother no one else he measured in kilograms?
Nice catch!
I currently reside in Canada. So I deal with the measurement system. Alberta beef is quite tasty though.

Well, it was a joke. Arse and I are actually friends outside the Rant. His weekend wrap-up did inspire me to post this. I hope someone gets something out of it.
More deeply, I believe carefully prepared food and drink shared between family and friends are some of the best things in life. Being present. Being kind. Smiling. Laughing. Joking. The Zen of BBQ, if you will.

You are basically paying for extra weight that is not edible. BTW, that looks really good.

True. But I save all leftover bones for stock. Chicken bones, beef bones, pork bones. My freezer looks like an animal graveyard!

Yeah, I saw some at fresh market the other day as well. It was the first time I had seen tomahawks there. I just buy bone in so I don't have to pay for the extra weight. Rouses in Youngsville has a "cowboy" ribeye that is kind of shorter boned version of the tomahawk for around $10/lb.

Is it over? I didn't know they were opening another one.
I am looking to get a good steak for tomorrow night to eat and drink while I watch the election.
