I have scoured Amazon as well as specialty shops across the Internet and have been unable to identify an extra large circular cutting board that is like this. Scroll to 16:10. Sam the Cooking Guy’s cutting board

I love the black and it obviously lasts a really long time because he’s been using this as his main cutting board forever. But I cannot find anywhere that has this. Also, what is the finish? Is it wood with a coating on it? Or is it just stained wood to make it black?

Just google black round cutting board. There’s several that show up that look like it.

So I have, but some of these products have matte finish and it will tell you not to cut directly on them frequently with sharp knives.

He’s been cutting on this one for over a year and every time it’s used it looks brand new And he is using very sharp chopping blades.

I may have to just start pestering his team on social media to see if they can reveal where he got it. I’m thinking it might be some custom-made thing in San Diego.

Interesting, that looks pretty close. Thank you. His appears to be 2 inches thick, I wonder if they are able to accommodate that. They only advertise 1/2 inch

The guy's videos are current. You could try asking him in the comment section.

I think that is 1" HDPE. Find an online plastics retailer and have it custom cut for you. However,I would start by asking him. That video is under 1 day old. He may respond.

Almost looks like Richlite, but I've never seen one that thick.

Looks like he answered the question a few months ago and the board is not longer made. I googled and it seems you're not the only interested in his board.

Thank you all for the digging and assistance!

Yes, certainly appears that this exact one is no longer being made.

Click on Meridian dogs sight and go to similar items. They say if you can dream it they can make it. It’s worth a try. Good luck.

Did the cooking guy ever mention the material it was made of? If you can find someone to custom cut it, richlite would be perfect. Used in commercial kitchens. It's heat-resistant and can be used as a cutting surface. Now I feel like I need to have one made.

Checked the Richlite website (richlite.com). A 1" thick, 24" square 'sample' goes for $288, plus shipping. OP can inquire on larger sizes plus cost of custom machining to a round board.
