I understood what he meant and I agree.

However, the list was not on some clickbait website so it was not cumbersome at all to scroll through.

I just don't understand Hopslam. I've probably had half a dozen different batches and have never come away saying "wow, this is really an elite beer". It's good, not great IMO.

My thoughts as well.

However, it is solid and rare enough where I buy beer that I will pick up a pack when I see it on the shelf.

Going to go to the Vermont Brewers Festival in late July. Went last year and it was a really good time.

I'll be there, too.

It was cutting edge when it came out 10 years ago. Now it is a middle of the pack BA stout. I love the flavor, but it is thin and watery.

There are better BA stouts in the state of Oregon, let alone nationwide.

FYI - If you ever get a change to try Matryoshka by Fort George, give that one a try. I'm out of it, and I should have bought much more, when I had the chance. I'm hoping they brew more of it next year.

Sounds like a FBDGT is in order.

Why do they have Bell's listed out of Galesburg? I've been to the brewery twice and it's in Kalamazoo.

Two breweries.

Kalamazoo is the OG, Galesburg is where the bulk of distribution is made.

I didn't love it, I liked it. If I recall correctly, it's a bit too hop forward for my tastes.

That being said, the ones are the shelf are only getting better.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but two beer related questions...

1) Anyone else going to Dark Lord Day this year? Went last year, and despite the abysmal weather, it was really fun and going again this year.

2) KBS day this saturday. Anyone else planning to go grab some?
