Can I squeeze 6 lbs of pork, 6 lbs of thighs, 6 lbs of sausage. 1 gallon of onions, 1 quart of bells, 1 bunch of celery and 6 lbs of penne noodles in this pot. Got a party so I was asked to cook. All I got is a 5 gallon pot. We got 10 gallons of gumbo in the bigger pot.

Based on math and common sense, no way.

Just so you know, the calculator says you'll overflow:

There's a little play in the calculation and it will be close.

What kind of pasta are you using? That could make a small difference.

100% yes.

In my 5 gallon, I’ll cook:
10-15 lbs meat
7 lbs sausage
7 lbs rice
5 lbs onion

You have to stir carefully as to not spill, but I’ve never had any issues with it fitting.

Easily, I’d start with 4lbs of pasta and add in if needed.

10 lbs meat - no problem
15 lbs meat - problem.

5 lbs of cooked meat is going to be the difference. That's almost a half gallon of cooked volume.

Look over the F&D board front page very carefully.

You've had the words "Jambalaya Calculator" in front of your face every time you visited the F&D board.
