13lbs. And yep it didn't fit so I kind of "smushed it" in and used the rack handles to keep it inside the lid gasket.

A raw brisket isn't very pliable

It shrunk right up after a couple hours.

Could use a can or foil wrapped brick to lay the brisket over and create more space?

Thanks for making this post by the way. I looked at this smoker when it first came out and I thought it would be nice to have. Gonna swing by the Natchitoches Walmart and see if they have any.

yep, something like that. looking for ideas for the next smoke. there's room, its just a matter of coloring the brisket inside the lines.

Any update on this smoker? Are you still enjoying it? I think I'm going to get one at my local Walmart today. I looked at it back in Sept but didn't pull the trigger.

I hope you bought it. I have one and love it. Only had it for 2 months but it doesn't take long to figure it out.

Can y’all Bronco owners give a review of its grilling capabilities? I know that’s not what it’s designed to do, but I’m interested in whether it can pull double duty.

I have a gas grill so I usually use that for grilling duties. However, I have used the Bronco as a grill for grilling skirt steak fajitas. It did well. If you are using it as a grill do yourself a favor and get a charcoal chimney. I didn't have one at first and abandoned the first couple grill attempts because it took too long to get up to grilling temp.
