LINK
i picked one up yesterday for $150 here but another poster said they were $100 by him and still in stock.
The other thread has a brickseek link to check store inventory in your area.
Home and Garden thread
I watched about 5-10 youtube video reviews of this smoker they were all pretty positive about it at $300 so i'm thinking its a steal at 1/3 of that price.
I will warn you its pretty heavy for one person to carry home.

They're all $186 in NOLA area. Still tempted to give it a go.

they ranged in price from $247 to $150 in nashville and surrounding area. i haven't opened it yet so if one of the stores drops it to $100 i may swap it

make a deal with you. if you do it, i'll do it too. as long as you dont have the brisket over direct heat and the temp controls are accurate, i think it'll be fine.
i'm gonna be pissed if i ruin a $50 piece of meat though.

Worst comes to worst we have a good BBQ place close to the house I can order back up from

I was in an area that had some of these and walked in. Was tempted but I could not fit that thing in my car and punted.

Bought one on Craigslist for $50

$100 seems like a really good deal for that smoker.

Alright, OK Joe Bronco fans. Here's what I learned from this past weekend that may help you.
1. If you can buy a second grate (or repurpose the one in your weber kettle) do it. if you put a brisket on the top grate it will definitely leave you little room for anything else although i did manage to put a few dozen pork belly cubes in and around the brisket.
2. one little wax weber firestarter on one side of a FULLY LOADED fuel box is all you need. given that its a drum and hard to get air, you may want to leave the charcoal basket out until the charcoal is good and ashed over so it gets plenty of air.
3. i used 3 chunks of mesquite for the brisket, one directly over the ashed coal and 2 on either side. no need to put wood chunks all around the basket because your meat will stop absorbing the smoke within the first hour or 2 anyway so just let the charcoal do the work afterward.
4. a fully loaded coal basket gave me roughly 8-10 hours of solid 250 degree burn time. i didn't make any extra effort to 'stack' the charcoal though..just dumped it in like i was pouring lucky charms into a cereal bowl.
5. IMPORTANT if you're doing a brisket or pork butt go ahead & remove the 'gas cap' at the bottom of the smoker & put a large foil pan or something underneath the smoker. There's too much grease run off for that tiny cap and you'll end up with a mess. ask me how i know
a 93 cent foil pan from walmart will completely solve this problem.
6. smoker will look like shite when you're done. i pulled everything out (grate, diffuser, coal basket, ash pan and that big-arse ring thing at the bottom that keeps the chimney air open) and used a hard bristled broom to scrub it down on the driveway using a water hose.
7. speaking of water hoses, i also took the cap off the bottom and sprayed the hell out of the insides. the bottom was particularly nasty having pooled brisket grease. think of your smoker like a giant cast iron skillet..no need to use soap, the grease is 'seasoning' the inside of it but you don't want standing grease or large chunks of that weird black bbq 'cheese puffs' all over the inside.
8. all the parts i took out i also sprayed & scraped off. the only part that needs extra attention is the actual grates your food is on. thats the only parts i cleaned with dishwashing soap.
9. wiped everything down with blue shop rags. you just want to make sure there's no standing water, doesn't have to be perfect just pat it off. i moved everything into the garage and let it all dry out overnight then put it all back together this morming before i left for work.
10. this is a fantastic smoker for the price! if you haven't picked one up, you may want to. don't know how it holds up long term but i think its a perfect starter smoker for anyone looking to get into smoking.
disclaimer: i have owned kamodo, propane, electric and wood smokers before and this is the first one that worked perfectly the first time i used it and it produces hella smoke ring.

I didn't have this issue. I figured it mostly dripped over the coals then into the ash pan and burnt up.

Yep. Hopefully this thing holds up, because it worked great.

I shoved a brisket in there that was really too big so I'm guessing the overlap combined with smoking for 10 hours but yeah at some point it started peeing all over the concrete.

How big was yours? Mine was just under 12 lbs before trimming, and it was a tight squeeze on the rack
