I'm trying to up my game this next season and I'm willing to pay a small fee to get access to whichever site has the best resources. I'd like to have both draft data / rankings / projections and during the season advice as well.

Anyone have one they have used and would recommend?

There are a ton of free sites that have the same info that the 'pay' sites have..

Now, if you want draft tools, go to FFToday and spend the $12 or so for the draft buddy software.

For a long time, I've believed that it's better to rely on a consensus than to put too much stock in one site (or magazine back in the day). If you consider the rankings from multiple sites, you'll see that some anomalies will stick out. I don't ever want to find out after the fact that only the site I was using had Michael Vick in the top 10 QBs where all other sites had him behind Carson Palmer and Teddy Bridgewater.

That said, I usually look at kffl.com, then compare the kffl draft lists with other sites--usually more than one. I will also test the sites to see which ones are updated the best. I do this by comparing a newsworthy injury or change from site to site and then putting any sites that are not updated on a "do not consult" list.

If you are using sites for the rankings then youre doing it wrong. It's ok to double check your own personal rankings with other sites, but your draft rankings should be composed of your own thoughts. Use site rankings as a guide, but they should really be used for "inside info". Matthew Berry's 100 facts column is a great example as it throws tidbits of info that actually matter such as Offensive Coordinator moves, O-line changes, etc. As far as just looking at rankings and drafting off of that, it's almost the same as putting the computer on Autodraft. Im not claiming you do that, just speaking in general.

Start a thread during your draft and keep an updated list of who's been drafted in the OP. Take the advice of some of the posters on this site and #profit. Some of the names listed are good ideas imo gyno and kashonly are 2 good choices.

I was talking about the OP specifically, I see what you say though. Maybe I underestimate the amount of people around here looking for help.
