Situation: My QBs are Ryan and Manning. My RBs are MJD, Charles, Benson and Battle.

His QBs are Vick and Freeman. His RBs are Rice, Forte, Turner, McGahee, Tate, Michael Bush, and Gerhart.

Would a straight up Manning for Rice be ridiculous? I really need another RB and this guy could def use a QB. Manning has been riding my bench the whole year. TIA.

No way he would bite on that.

Yes.

Manning would need to be packaged with another early round value player. If he is that heavy at RB he is probably light at WR. If you have a WR to offer, maybe use that.

you will not get rice or forte for manning. You should be able to get Mcgahee

Which manning?

Adding Mcgahee would improve your RB depth

Peyton Manning. Sorry, forgot to include that. I feel like I'd get screwed if all I get is McGahee in return

That would be about an even trade. Quarterbacks do not have a ton of value in a 1 qb start league. Take McGahee if offered. Manning will just be wasting space on the bench. What good is an investment if you never cash it in. He is at peak value right now.

You're right. I went ahead and offered Manning and Benson for Turner though just to see if he bites. If not, then I'll counter with Manning for McGahee. I'd rather have McGahee than Benson i guess

No it's not ridiculous at all. People value RBs way too high, the NFL has changed.

I get sucked into the RB trap every year and it screws me, I finally learned my lesson.
