Definitely veto-worthy. Smells like collusion, or just somebody be a dumb Frick.

He's given two examples of the guy trying to manipulate his way to a lopsided trade. Veto was warranted.

I guess we have differing views on what is veto-worthy. I've always believed stupidity is not a good enough reason.

Maybe not in most instances, but when you have a player that is clearly targeting less knowledgable people and trying to manipulate then into trades it's veto worthy IMO.

OP has already said the league is not for money, but that doesn't mean they should sit back and let some D bag manipulate the casual players into ridiculous trades.

you mean he gave two examples of trying to see who's stupid in the league and will give him a sweet deal. sounds like a good salesman.

You can't veto trades b/c your jealous that someone was able to take advantage of someone else's stupidity.

I send lopsided trade requests all the time to all kinds of people, then they get mad when i get a deal done that seems lopsided.
I prey on people that are desperate.

Do you really not understand the difference between this and going after people who aren't as knowledgeable in a friendly league?

gets it

I don't do those things very often, because I typically play with pretty knowledgeable people, but I'm not going to veto someone who hits on a good deal.

people that veto trades for stupid reasons are the kind of people that get mad when they are going 50 in a 55 and someone passes them up, so they speed up too like dumbass's.

In a competitive league with knowledgeable players, sure. In a workplace league that isn't competitive with less knowledgeable players vetoing for other reasons isn't stupid at all.

You've already admitted that you've never been a part of the latter so maybe you should just move along.

Far from jealous. Even the girls knew it was lopsided.

If this was for money would you veto the trade? Friendly or money whats the difference if you play to win?

Someone trying to manipulate others is not fair. He did not and has not and will not offer the more seasoned of us, and the trade he offered to one of the girls was rejected because shes not ignorant like he thought she was.

If it was a fair trade, it wouldn't be questioned. To say that, because we don't play for money doesn't mean we don't care. Sometimes pride and bragging rights are just as valuable to those who want it.
