I think there are going to be some seriously disappointed folks who grab Martin with a top 5 pick next season. Not that I expect him to bust, but the Bucs have had a cake as hell schedule for a running back this season. He's likely to take a bit of a step back next season.

Well, I will not have to deal with this problem, but I do not draft elite backs. QB's and WR's are more predictable and consistent in preseason predictions and there are too many breakouts at RB to start your team with Rice and Forte IMO.

To each their own, but I'll keep riding the ADP train with my Keeper/#1 pick, and enjoy the hell out of Trent as my #2 keeper. I think the top 3-4 backs (Foster, ADP, Rice, Trent/Martin) will easily have enough value compared to their RB peers to be worth top round picks. The differential last year was more of an exception rather than the rule with QBs IMO, RBs and TEs are where the biggest difference in value between the top and the bottom is atm as far as I'm concerned.

Hell, the difference between the top QB (RG3) and the 9th (Ryan) in my league is a mere 33 points. The difference between the #3 RB (Martin) and the #9 (Morris) is about 55 points. The split between the top 3 WRs and the #9 is a bit bigger at around 40 points, but the problem with WRs is their TDs are pretty random, which makes their values change wildly from year to year.

See Brandon Marshall not being top 10 last year and top 3 this year, and Roddy White and Welker both being outside the top 10 this year so far, all because of random WR TD chances.

Everyone's style is different though, I tend to win my leagues when I go RB heavy so I stick with that (it also aligns with what I believe from what I posted above), but other folks kick arse with QB and WRs in the early rounds, more power to them.

Well since he will be getting 2 all pro guards back next season, I have to disagree

BB has been doing much more with the same variables.

The Bryce Brown situation will not be an issue IMO. Look at Houston. Two very talented backs in Foster and Tate. Has not stopped Foster's production.

Meh, McCoy isnt Foster. I would say I think that B B and McCoy could benefit from each other more than affect each other. I still dont think either is a top 5 back next year.

I knew I forgot someone. I just threw Hernandez's name on there.

Let's try this again:
Gronk
Graham
Gonzo
Witten
Davis

Nah, McCoy had Vick some of the time, so the Eagles passed more and Vick.

Also, Bryce Brown is coming in fresh and healthy compared to the rest of the league. Huge bonus to not be running on tired legs.

Brown is generally getting more carries. Brown received 19 and 24 carries. McCoy has not received 20+ carries since week 4.

Obviously, Bryce Brown has had arguably the Eagles top two running back performances this year, but look at McCoy's history. He is a proven stud. He will be a stud until the wheels fall off, and that will not happen in 2013.

I will pass on rg3.

Just don't trust him to stay healthy. Maybe he does, but I won't be risking it. Not to mention, he reminds me enough of cam that I would expect a step back next year, even if healthy.

Vernon Davis has scored less than 5 pts in 5 games this year including two 0's. he is too hit or miss to be top 5

I have to disagree with everyone including Roddy White in the Top 5 WR. In my league(with very normal scoring) he is 12th in production, and who is 13?? Julio!

They cut into each other's production every game to where one doesnt stand out ALL season long.

I'd rather see A. Johnson, Dez, Welker, or Cruz in there.

Ya, he is ranked 7th in my league right now splitting carries. If that goes into his favor he becomes Top 5.

Only issue is if they keep FJAX for goal line carries.

I think Stevan Ridley(8th) will remain just outside. Even if they let one of Woodhead/Vereen go I still think he doesn't see 3rd down snaps hardly ever.

If they ever start using him as a dump off WR on 3rd down at all he could sneak into the Top 5, but I just don't see it.

I think everybody on the Pats is a Position#2 besides Gronk with the way they spread it around.
