Throw him back in, mates. It's not a giant deal to me.

I agree with the premise of the rule, just wasn't exactly sure how/when a claim was supposed to go down

swamped at work, so I was never really plugged in to the conversation about the rule

I would think since it took commish powers that he should go back

That's how all of these non-waiver wire bids are processed, fwiw.

I agree with Toula that if someone is dropped Wed they go to the Thursday bidding, dropped Thursday they go to Friday, ect. I'd say that the bid needs to come in before they expire and become a UFA though.

Well that part isn't on you. That's a scenario that was not defined. We are trying to be as fair as possible to everyone. Thanks for not being a dick.

You've won a lot of money through RT. This league wouldn't have happened if not for this site, Negative Nancy.

You did nothing wrong. You should keep him, imo, and we start tomorrow with the 12pm cut off time. The cut off time wasn't being discussed until an hour ago. It shouldn't effect things that happened before the rule went into place like this pick up.

Chill brah. The best part of this league is solid owners who do what's best for the league (except for Swamie) . Let him go back to the.pool and y'all get your check books ready for that bum

I'm perfectly chill. Papps is being a champ about it. Like I said, just my opinion. All cool here.

This really isn't a new rule, this is just clarification and defining the rule.

This does prove how this is a much better way to handle. Guy dropped in week 3 that's wanted by at least 4 different owners. Let him go to highest bidder rather than who refreshes the quickest when he hits FA

Ill be honest, I'd be making a stink if it was a better player. I could likely be out of this whole shootin match by the time Stewart proves to be useful.

Let's just look at this as a "massaging of a rule" situation and start with the new process tomorrow.

Guess I should have tried to trade him before dumping him. I really didn't think he still had value

He'll go unclaimed and get scooped up by Gyno as soon as he expires.

So all dropped players go through this process regardless of when they were dropped in the week?

I guess I assumed it only applied to those who were dropped when FAAB was processed.

That was our intention, to be able to bid on a protected player so that you got a chance to get someone who isn't an UFA, not just guys dropped during waivers.
