Yea, i thought it would have been for next days 9PM bids.

Yea he should have sat around for at least 24 hrs

I thought the bid thing through email was once a week, tonight, and it only involved guys dropped during the FAAB process?

I'm just posting the email requests the night I receive them.
Don't have access to your leagues add/drop screen to see who was dropped when. And I'm not gonna check the transaction log every time I get an email bid. If that's what it'll take, someone else can manage the inbox.

Those guys should process like regular waivers
Explain....first come first serve?

Only ones released during FAAB go to email is how I interpreted the rule
It says that we will check it each day. The initial waiver claim is Wed morning. That's it. It's for protected players who are dropped throughout the week. The cut off time was at 9:00, a player was protected and claimed before the cut off. I hear what your are saying but it's either make the claim or do the first come, first serve thing that we aren't going back to.

Yea, defintely. Had like a 4 hour window on him.

I dropped him at 7pm . Having him claimed 2.5 hours later ain't right

I can see where you might have gotten that from...but it is for protected players, dropped players (not just players from the waiver wire).
We can't do the 24 hour thing because they will go to unprotected in that time frame, meaning the expire and become UFA and no one can bid on them.
One thing we could do is say something like if someone is dropped after 12:00 PM they go into waivers the following day.

From the beginning I thought the email thing was only tonight, and the rest of the week went as usual.
Yes. I guess since no one made a claim after the oringal night, it reinforced the notion that it was only one night
So if I drop a guy at 8:59pm tonight, no one sees it, he becomes a FA after the email processes? If you're going to process a waiver claim that quickly. Idk. That sucks

I just offered a solution. Let's use that and be done with it.
If we get a claim on a player and he was dropped after 12:00 PM that day, it carries over to the next day. Any player dropped before 12:00 can be claimed. That gives you 9 hours to check once a day if there is a player you want that was dropped.

What if were to bid on Hillman, he goes to UFA before 9PM tomrrow. Do we just remove him and add him on my team if i win the bid?
Posted on 9/21/16 at 9:55 pm to PortCityTiger24
That's the way it needs to be... my fault for the confusion.
If we need to add Stewart back I'm good with that... it's Jonathan Stewart after all

Did the site just let you add him? I'm surprised he didn't ho to the RFA
Posted on 9/21/16 at 9:59 pm to MrPappagiorgio
I don't think you should have to give him back. Not your fault.

Commish added him, $5 bid
Definitely would've beat that but don't add him back. The rule is made to help everyone and we knew it would need some tweaking, so let's just pick up tom with the new system

Stewart should go back and everyone have a chance to submit a bid.
Going forward, when submitting a bit, person should include when player was dropped. Everyone should have a full day to submit bids.
All waiver guys dropped process thru email on Wed, all Wed dropped guys process Thursday and so on. Pretty straight forward

I would think since it took commish powers that he should go back. It really is unfair, if you didn't check the site between 7-9 you misses your option to bid which is the whole point of the email system
